Dental check up and screening
A full examination and then a chat is often all that is required. This gives you the opportunity to explain what you need or expect from us. We only provide treatment at a first visit if absolutely necessary, for example, if you have an immediate dental problem such as pain, a broken tooth or bleeding gums. We shall discuss the pros and cons of any appropriate treatment options with you. If you prefer to do nothing for the time being, you will benefit from having the correct information, which is often enough to put your mind at rest about your dental condition. If you decide you wish to proceed, we will always provide you with a written estimate, with full details of cost and payment methods. We always recommend the treatment we would provide for our own family. There is absolutely no obligation to have any treatment at your first visit with us. It is your body, and therefore your choice. |
Professional dental photography are needed for proper case records and information for our doctors to evaluate certain dental conditions properly. Before and after picture are often used to show the results after treatment completed. |

A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay. |
Treatment Process. |
A local anesthetic will be given to provide a comfortable experience for you. Once your mouth is numb, your dentist may use a couple of different materials to help make the filling procedure easier and more efficient. |
Depending on where your filling is, a rubber dam or bite block may be used to hold your jaw open. Once you’re numb and your mouth is ready, the portion of your tooth that was damaged due to tooth decay will be removed using a dental drill. |
The quick movement of the drill allows it to glide through the tooth decay and whisks away the damaged tooth structure. These are simply small, metal tools that the dentist can use to refine the area where the filling will be placed or to remove any remaining tooth decay. |
Lastly, the dentist will fill the tooth and make it look like a real tooth again without worrying about infections. |
Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. |
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, there’s too much damage for the tooth to be repaired. In this case, the tooth needs to be extracted. A very loose tooth also will require extraction if it can’t be saved. |

Endodontic - Root canal treatment
Root Canal Treatment is a method in conserving a damaged, decayed and/or infected tooth in order to save it; hence avoiding an extraction. This treatment involves the removal of the infected nerve and soft tissue area inside the tooth and its roots known as the pulp which contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissues. Once completed, the entire root system is sealed off. |

Dental veneers are thin, individual hand-crafted wafers of porcelain, which can be bonded to your teeth to change their shape, color or alignment. Often an alternative to crowns, dental veneers look completely natural and are made of a very durable ceramic material that actually strengthens your tooth! It is very common for people to have imperfect teeth, either oddly shaped teeth, chipped teeth, crooked teeth, pitted teeth, or an inappropriate sized tooth or teeth that have an odd appearance. Dental veneer solves such irregularities and creates a durable and pleasing smile. |
Treatment Process
A small amount of tooth structure will be removed to make room for the veneers. The dental lab then fabricates the veneers from impressions. After placement, the veneers will look very much like natural teeth. Some advantages of porcelain veneers over bonding include increased longevity, and resistance to staining. |

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of pure Titanium used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. |
Dental implants with the right surface treatment for successful osseointegration can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including crowns, implant-supported bridge or dentures. |
Advantages of dental implant: |
- Dental implants reduce the load on the remaining oral structures/teeth by offering independent support and retention to crowns, bridgework and overdentures.
- Dental implants preserve natural tooth tissue by avoiding the need to cut down adjacent teeth for conventional bridgework.
- Dental implants will preserve bone and significantly reduce bone resorption and deterioration that results in loss of jawbone height.
- Dental implants have been shown to reduce the need for subsequent restorative intervention of adjacent teeth.
- Long-term data on implants suggest that implants last for a much longer time than conventional restorations on teeth.
- Loose fitting dentures can be replaced with improved support, stability and retention with implant overdentures.
- Overdentures will help control/improve facial contours that result in minimizing premature wrinkles.
- Implant overdentures may allow you to chew your food better and speak more clearly. Many studies have shown that overdentures contribute to improved chewing efficiency and speaking, compared to full dentures.

Surgical removal of wisdom tooth

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Your wisdom teeth are the last ones to erupt in your mouth and they are usually partially emerged and sometimes they don’t come out at all. Sometimes they may give you problems such as pain, repeated infection, gum disease, tooth decay and may cause decay of the adjacent tooth. To remove this tooth, we need to do a minor surgery to remove it because the tooth cannot come out with a simple extraction. |
Why Wisdom Tooth Extraction ? |
- Wisdom teeth will often get cavities and cause gum problems because they are hard to clean
- If you allow them to erupt they can crowd your teeth, and ruin all the years you spent in braces!
- When your wisdom teeth start to erupt, the roots haven’t fully developed. It’s easier to remove them before they do, and you’ll recover more easily too. In general, the older you get the more difficult they can be to remove.
- Most people leave their wisdom teeth partially erupted and this is a constant cause of decay to the adjacent tooth.

Teeth whitening is a process of removing stains and debris to make teeth appear whiter. Teeth whitening can be done at home (home-use bleaching kit) or in-office teeth whitening by a dentist. It is a purely cosmetic procedure, done to enhance one’s smile. |
Treatment Process
During teeth whitening, a rubber dam is put over your teeth to protect the gums, and a bleaching product is painted onto your teeth. Then a light is shone on the teeth to activate the chemical. The light speeds up the reaction of the whitening product and the color change can be achieved more quickly, up to 3 – 4 shades lighter in most cases. |
